Isla Tortuga
From Wiki Costa Rica
Isla Tortuga is in fact two islands: Isla Tolinga and Isla Alcatraz, which lie 3km southeast of the town of Curú. It is a very popular destination for tourists that come to Costa Rica. http://www.wikicostarica.com:16080/skins/common/images/button_extlink.png It has white-sand beaches, palm trees and blue-turquoise waters, great for snorkeling. Visitors can also do zip-lining, or other aquatic sports.
Many tour operators offer vacation packages which include transportation, hotel stays, and all meals. The boat trip takes 90 minutes, and usually dolphins can be seen. Most trips depart from the city of Puntarenas. The islands do not offer any kind of accommodations, so all trips are one-day.
